We focus on clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories that we believe have resale potential. Not every item will be a good fit for resale, and we’ll help identify which items are worth selling.
No! You can choose our Pickup & Sort option if you’ve already cleaned out your closet. We’ll pick up your items, evaluate them, and determine what we recommend for resale or donation.
For items we sell, you receive 60% of the sale proceeds and Closet to Cash receives 40%. Your payout is calculated from the net proceeds received after applicable resale-platform fees.
Items are listed for up to 90 days. At the end of the resale period, unsold items can be returned to you or donated with your approval.
Payouts are made every 30 days during the 90-day resale period for items that have sold.
Closet to Cash is based in Plainfield, Indiana and serves clients throughout Central Indiana, including Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg, Indianapolis, Zionsville, Carmel, Fishers, Geist, Westfield, Noblesville, and surrounding communities.
Local pickup starts at $25. Pickup fees may vary based on distance from Plainfield. Contact us to confirm availability and pricing for your area.
Items may be listed on resale platforms such as Poshmark, Depop, and other platforms we determine are appropriate for the item.
Closet to Cash researches comparable resale listings and pricing to determine a competitive price. We also manage buyer offers and negotiations for you.
You can choose to have those items returned to you or donated on your behalf. If donated, a donation receipt will be provided upon request when one is available.
Yes, because you’ll help identify anything you definitely want to keep. After that, you can relax while Closet to Cash does the sorting and helps determine what makes sense to sell or donate.
